This amazing online festival starts today and runs until Friday 11 November. What do I mean by online? I mean you visit the website find a session you like and tune in.
There are real time interactive workshops (to join in will cost you anywhere from $18 to $45), events that are designed to run the length of the festival (you can dip in and out as these creative enterprises take shape) and panel sessions that you can view as they happen, or at your leisure.

For a taste of what you can expect, you can watch some of the events from the 2015 program through their archive.
From last year’s program I’d recommend the Crafting a Killer First Chapter session, particularly if you’re interested in the competitive young adult market and want that all important GOS (great opening sentence).
The DWF is a product of the Emerging Writers’ Festival which is dedicated to celebrating new and diverse writers from around Australia.
Enjoy!
